@jamesbeat You have Conker's at full speed on a Pi? How?
Sorry no, as I mentioned above I'm running retropie on a PC with Ubuntu.
It runs full speed even with high graphics settings.
I seem to recall that there is a problem though, like one of the menu screens is graphical junk. I will admit that I didn't really try playing around with the settings though, so a different plugin may cure it. -
@jamesbeat Why so touchy? Can you not tell I'm trying to wind you up? Sure, to relaaax you should go play Zelda OOT on your PC and think about all those using the Pi and crying into their controllers.
-
I wasn't being touchy, I thought maybe you hadn't realized I was the guy with the PC and was genuinely interested.
I guess I missed your skillfully wielded sarcasm. -
@jamesbeat Obviously too subtle for some.
-
It did occur to me that it it might be an unsophisticated dig, but I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt.
I'm not going to spend any more time arguing with some kid about video games.
-
@jamesbeat "some kid"? Ha! I'm sure I have a few years on you. Probably more than a few. Away and play your PC and give my head peace ffs.

My apologies, the nature of your posts gave me the impression that you were in your early teens.

@jamesbeat Any chance you could stop being a dick? Cos you are coming across like a dick.

Favor/favour
Potato/potatoI'm actually English, but since I now live in the States I have learned to spell things the American way.
I am quite happy to accept a truce, let's be friends :)

@jamesbeat Aye, OK. And it's POTATOE btw!
-
@mediamogul I have a hat on already!

You know, where I used to work back when I lived in the UK, there was a potato stand right outside.
Well, it was an ice cream stand in the summer, then potatoes in the winter. Same people.Anyway, I never used to eat from there, I would walk about five minutes to the Spud-U-Like, despite the inclement weather.
Why? Because they had this menu blackboard thing, and they wrote 'potatoe' on it instead of 'potato'.
Now I thought, these guys sell potatos for six months out of every year, yet they can't even spell potato.
If they can't spell the one thing that they sell for half of every year, are they smart enough to observe basic food hygiene?
Forget that, I'm going to Spud-U-Like.

@AlexMurphy good to see you back columbscoat. You were banned for your attitude before. Please behave.
-
@herb_fargus Well, it's easy enough to track an IP if it's not hidden. If you don't like my attitude then ban me again. Do I have a right to appeal? I'll just join again with a hidden IP under a different name. What exactly did I do wrong?
EDIT: Maybe this time I'll be afforded the courtesy of an explanation rather than just being hit with the ban-hammer. -

@hooperre I want to upvote this more. This is probably the only acceptable use of "bruh"
Just felt right.
