2 Questions Regarding Organizing Roms In emulationstation
-
Hi All.
I have spent many of time trying to find solutions to 2 small things that annoy me lol, but have still had no luck.
The first one maybe simple but i cant seem to find any info.
My sega cd collection has a .bin and .cue file per game, everything showed up correctly until i scraped all my games, now emulation station shows every game in sega cd twice, i can only assume that it is now showing both .bin and .cue but i might be wrong so i hope someone here can point me in the right direction.Second is regarding my arcade collection, I use lr-mame2003, i have a complete .78 non-merged romset but i only copy over games i wish to play.
I have some bios files copied over for these neogeo.zip etc but is there a way to hide these bios files showing in emulationstation, i read somewhere that you can highlight the one of the bios files in the list press select, edit metadata and there be a option to hide but i cannot see this option.Any help would be very much appreciated.

@robmcc83 #1: This behavior is typically for many frontends.
There should be an option, which hides ".bin" files, but i found another solution.

@robmcc83 if you want hide the neogeo bios, you can use lr-fbalpha and put the bios file in the bios folder. You may need a newer romset because many of the rom files from mame2003 may not work on final burn.

There is - and it's enabled by default for Emulationstation. Could you please stop reviving old topics to advertise your so called 'solution' ?
