I got Retropie installed OK and figured out how to shut it down the right way but I can't figure out how to restart it. If I unplug it it corrupts the SD card and I have to reimage it. Can't find how to do it in any of the docs.

@Lumpy53 if you shutdown from the emulationstation menu unplugging it shouldnt corrupt it.
-
@edmaul69 also if you wire a push button to the reset pins on the pi you can push that to turn it back on with the reset button. Thats what i do. Or you can buy a mausberry or a controlblock

I'm not sure whats going on but I shut it down properly just now and now it won't boot up again.

@Lumpy53 Probably you already tried but can you test with a different SD card ?

I just ordered another one. But I put in my original Raspberry Pi card and it works fine. Shuts down and starts back up fine.
