@BuZz That did the trick, after I turned the 8bitdo hack mode to on in the Bluetooth menu. I thought I already had it switched to on. Thanks for the help.

Samsung card is good one. I got the 64gig version of that and it's been perfect. I'm referring to the GOLD Evo

I see what your saying but since these OS's are all based on basically the same foundation I bet you just need to install a driver is all. I could be wrong but it makes sense. Lets wait for a Guru to chime in ;)

Yes you can and I do this with a card with Raspbian on and another with My weather station software so I can try things out without ruining my live environment.

@jay81uk not necessarily. As I said, I made mine out of another one. So long as it fits and you get good thermal connection it will work. Mystery tape pads can do more harm than good, but even they can work if they are the right kind. You could get the cheap one and grab some heat sink compound just in case the pads don't work.

I got it working by going into RGUI > quick menu > and swapped controller or whatever it's called and it worked fine

@jay81uk in the original game you tapped the c buttons to move the camera in increments. in your case you have to move the stick in increments. so you just move it right to go right a bit. then return the stick to centre, and move right again, etc.

@edmaul69 I installed the RetroPie 4.0 beta, and it looks like they remedied the situation in the Bluetooth menu. If I have any performance issues with the beta, I'll try your suggestion with the old version. Thanks for the quick response.
