    I can't see any problem in the screenshot. The error message can be ignored. It has recreated the second partition at full size by the looks of things.

    what is the output of

    sudo blockdev --getsize64 /dev/mmcblk0 sudo parted /dev/mmcblk0 unit b print df -h

    @thrussmeister if you open up /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg you can move the systems into whatever order you like. I have mine arranged by: whatever system i modded a pi in and all that manufacturers consoles, then oldest to newest but keeping manufactures system altogether. Consoles first, then arcades, then computers.

    @ckng2000

    You're really going to need a rom from one of the listed rom sets that correlates to one of the already available arcade emulators in RetroPie. So, if you wanted the latest non-experimental Mame version of 'Cherry Master' for RetroPie, it would need to be from the 0.139 Mame rom set and you would launch that rom with lr-mame2003.

    Edit: Being a Neo Geo game, you will also need the neogeo.zip BIOS file from the 0.139 Mame rom set as well.

    Edit 2: Of course this example is just for Mame. Many people prefer running Neo Geo games through the FBA emulator. It's just important to remember to match the rom set version to the emulator you choose as detailed in the two links above.

    Did kof98.zip and neogeo.zip get verified by clrmamepro? Where did you get the .dat file?
    How many files are in your neogeo.zip?

    Does this output anything if you type once youve tried to load the game?

    nano /tmp/runcommand.log

    I just tried it and it does work.
    Make sure you put your zip files in
    /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/mame-mame4all
    I selected to run that in lr-mame4all as the default in that dir is mame4all.

    I would say either your romsets arent correct, or you are putting them in the wrong rom folder.

    This will link the folder roms from your HDD to the ROMs-directory in Retropie. That's a convinient and save way. For future updates you do not have to carry over your ROMS back to SD. Coz you've 2 storages now:

    The SD-Card only as Retropie sytem (4GB are enough)
    2 An USB-stick for ROMS storage with FAT32 format (easy copy from Windows to the device)

    How to link?

    cd /home/pi/RetroPie mv roms roms_backup ln -s /media/usb/roms roms

    @VFansss i actually use the ps1, ps2 and ps3 pads. I got my ps1 and ps2 controllers in good shape. I wired a hde ps1, ps2 usb adapter soldered to the controller port. I used this video i took off of youtube. You need to rip it to an sd video not hd. (480 but still wide screen and still looks good)

    And here is the link to my pi-station 1 i did:

    @chillyboy

    Most of these games are between 30 and 40 years old. Playing them on a HDTV highlights how low-definition/pixelated they truly are. To alleviate that for those who don't like the pixel aesthetic, filters have been created to smooth things out in different ways depending on the filter being used. The smoothing example given above is a popular approach and not very processor intensive, but some people find it too blurry for their tastes.

    There are also filters like this that try to take a middle ground by smoothing the pixelation, while sharpening the resulting edge, but some people find this approach too unnatural or plasticy. Something that seems to satisfy purists and revisionists alike is to recreate a CRT look on your LCD monitor like this. Personally, I take the path of least resistance and leave the games in their unfiltered pixelated glory, but at the end of the day, it's all about personal preference. The question you have to ask is, which one of the many compromises is least objectionable to yourself.

    @Omar007 in that retroarch config is there a payer 1 and player to joypad index? If so set both player 1 and 2 to joypad 0. Or if lr-snes9x-next is available on there it should be fixed to swap the players in all stars.

    I got this fixed. First I set up the PS3 controller "manually" using this post as a guide:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/RetroPie/comments/3ye3f0/cant_manage_to_configure_dreamcast_controls/

    Then, I did the first two things on this post (1 - disabled emulationstation's automatic configuration of reicast and 2 - modified reicast's config so it attempts to "read" the proper joysticks from /dev/input)

    https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/2869/reicast-not-detecting-xbox-360-controller-partially-solved

    I noticed that when the keyboard was hooked up it was controller id 0, and the PS3 was Id1. With no keyboard the PS3 controller was Id0 and worked. So I told it to look for id1. But then it stopped configuring the controller in reicast, so I had to do it manually.

    Now the PS3 controller works - would be nice if I didn't have to tell it which controller in case the numbers change, but it works and that's what really matters.

    There is this project that is building the gamelist and art based on the output of my scraper and other sources https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-gamelists It requires that things are named like no-intro set.

    Another option is to run my scraper from another system and just copy over the gamelist and images. I make versions available for almost everything (I don't have FreeBSD but now that I'm running that I may add it)

    You can download here:
    https://github.com/sselph/scraper/releases

    And the basic instructions are unzip the zip and place the scraper executable in the rom folder and from a command line change directory to the rom folder and run ./scraper or scraper.exe on windows. That will create a gamelist.xml and images folder that you can copy over.

    @ruxton_bruce I'm glad you have it sorted out. I've opened an issue to track adding a check for bin files named the same as the cue. I imagine that it is common enough that the emulator handles it. https://github.com/sselph/scraper/issues/100
