Someone here told me there is no GLES support in the PI
-
Your on thin ice edmaul69! You're a good cop, but your wildcard methods are gonna be the end of you one day. The Commissioner's breathing down my neck on this one and he's looking to make an example. You know this department can't take another black eye after the Moretti incident and I'm not losing my job over this!
Reading the linked thread, It looks as if @RetroFreak89 was actually referencing OpenGL rather than OpenGLES, which is a bit of a different beast and well supported on the Pi, whereas OpenGL is not, as he correctly stated. Even so, I assume you were kidding about the ban. If we started banning people for honest mistakes it would get pretty quiet around here. You should really always double check information yourself to be sure.

It is 100% possible gles.
I will forgive this dude for this little possibly honest mistake.
-
@xeon is there an open gles version of gzdoom.? Googling i found people asking for an open gles version, stating it is open gl originally.
-
@edmaul69
This dude already did it.
I have it on my phone.

Just look at the stuff he got running on mobile.
The envy is real.

Look it's really important for me to get GZdoom to work for a rpi build i have been working on for a long time.

i don't know why i am being down voted....
Also GLES and openGL are not that far different ES jusr preffers more shader code. -
@xeon I change my mind ban him please.
-
@xeon stop spamming.
-
@dankcushions Sorry.
-
@xeon if you continue like this, you will be the one with the ban.
-
@buzz I'm sorry i didn't mean to be irritating.
I have no excuse.
