    Hi,
    i`m planing to use a PI Zero W for retropie, inside a NES cartridge.
    Would it be possible to use the miniHDMI to display the games on a big flatscreen and a cover of the game on an additional display?
    The additional displayed should be connected using the GPIO-pins.

    Maybe someone has done that?

      @retro_pi Yeah, @obsidianspider did a pretty amazing version of the SFC with a cartridge that displays art on a small screen. His project uses HDMI like you want and it looks like his cartridge display connects via GPIO. Read the whole thread or checkout the images at this position here.

        @caver01 Correct, the small 2.2" screen is connected via GPIO. I really love how that turned out.
