@norbit2 For the dmesg output execute:

      dmesg | nc termbin.com 9999

and paste the URL that you get.
For the other commands, hcitool scan should show you the bluetooth devices nearby, see the 2nd link I gave above.

@norbit2 | is the 'pipe symbol', it should be on a standard keyboard http://compujurist.com/2014/10/30/how-to-insert-a-vertical-pipe-symbol-using-your-keyboard/.

@norbit2 It doesn't look like your BT is disabled, so I'm not sure at this point why the pairing doesn't work.

@mitu I have no idea what to do. My laptop computer finds them within 5 seconds.

@norbit2 the pairing on the pi takes longer to find them. So you need to put it into android pairing mode right before you scan for it

@norbit2 well if it wont go into android pairing mode, try going into windows mode, then hold down the sync button to unpair it. Then try to pair it to the pi. If not, turn it off then try pairing it in android mode. The fact that its paired to windows might be your issue.

@edmaul69 I have already unpaired the remote from the computer. I just did that as a test.

@norbit2 did you unpair it in windows or on the controller?

@norbit2 you need to unpair it on the controller. The controller has no clue that the computer was unpaired. It will continue looking for it. Go into windows mode on the controller then hold down the sync button to unpair it.

@mitu I just noticed this on restart:

Failed to start configure Bluetooth modems connected by UART

@edmaul69 I have done that to. It is not a problem with the controllers.
