@akafox Hey this is great if it works. I tried "Sonic R" bin/cue but I ran it in verbose mode and the cue file was the wrong format for lr-yabause, which is just weird.
I know it is experimental but I was running it on my laptop.
This actually made it run, but with no background music... https://forums.libretro.com/t/yabause-core-and-cue-files-problem/3829

So, removing lines from the cue file worked, to a certain extent...
Don't get me wrong, I have no interest in making this work for me , I just thought I would try and assist.

@jonnykesh No problem that is what the forum is for..here to help not be a hero. If I wanted to do that I'd play Super Miro Bros. ;)

Yeah I don't have a system that is beefy enough to run Sega Saturn...wish I did..
but emulating six cpus and all the other stuff is tough to do..I have trouble running 3DO..it only had three cpus. But it also depends on the emulator. The 4D0 core runs half speed...but I use a stand alone on my system and it runs blazing at 60fps...

I would like to add SS to my systems..and maybe dreamcast..but beyond that..I'm done..last system I ever owned was a PS2 (I was given a WII..I put retroarch on it..sadly my pi runs better)

Anyway that being said..back to topic...yeah that should help if you combine it..I had some psx games that gave me trouble until I combined them. Your BIOS should be correct or you wouldn't be able to load at all I think. You might try the beetle core..I hear it works good..but again I have not been able to get it to load myself. Glad to see that the sega saturn is getting some emulator love..I bet that's a pain to make an emulator for it!

People want things easy...but then complain that life is boring...

@akafox @jonnykesh Ok... I've read all your comments, and I think the best option is to use that ISOBuster to make the .bin files to just 1 .bin file.

@jonnykesh Just for asking, the game that you tried (I asume it is Shinobi X) I'm talking about the 1st time when it worked with the music, did you find it with .bin, .cue, and .wav?

@akafox Ok I tried to use ISOBuster but you say "then select Extract CD and select RAW (.bin.iso)", but there's 2 options

              1. Extract CD <Content>
              2. Extract CD <Images>
And I can select "RAW (.bin .iso)" In the two of them... so what I should use? 1 or 2?

EDIT: Ok, forget about that, i tried "Extract CD <Images>" and it works!
But, now there's another little problem.
When i run, is like the world it isn't all loaded, so if i look away, I see the world like blurred (I found blurred in google traductor, so I don't know if it correct, in spanish is "Difuminado") So, when I get close It loads correctly, I don't know if I'm explaining myself, but the game goes fluid so it isn't so important to solve that, but i don't know if this will be a problem for other games.
              Any suggestion?

Althought, maybe this is how the game was originally. (Sonic R)

@boltio3 After doing some .cue and .bin files with the ISOBuster, some ROM's (all ROM's are from the same site) have this... lets say graphic corruption.
                0_1529155147194_f231617b02ebb5156f162d14e3831020.jpg

But almost all are fine. (Or not so corrupted)

This have any solution? (apart from changing the ROM)

Edit: I've tried the Tomb Raider (U) but it have the same problem. (The 1st one was the European one)

That I have no idea on..I have little to no experience with the saturn cores. Could be a emulator problem..not an iso problem. Does it do that before you combine it? i.e. does it work correctly when you leave it separate files?

What formats can the cores read? only bin/cue..or can it read others like iso or ccd/img converting it to a different format might help it better? shrugs You should be able to use UltraISO to convert it.

(Yeah iso based systems are a pain in the controller....)

@akafox Before combine it, I don't know because I test it with Sonic R, so i only used Tomb raider once it was combined.
Here it is what files can the lr-yabause read:
                    https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Saturn

Edit: I don't use the "lr-beetle-saturn" emulator, because i don't have the right bios for it and because the last time i tried to use it, it haven't work, the screen was stuck in black.

Edit2: And for what i've tried without combining, the game didn't start and instead of loading the game, it loads the Saturn menu (Were there was that "Set CD+G Channel" that now is solved)

@boltio3 You'll want to combine the files using ISO Buster first (which you have already done) you want to convert (i.e. At the top Tools --> Convert

The wiki says you can use bin/cue, iso, mds/mdf the program will handle that just fine.

However bin/cue is the way to go here I would think...

in the pop up window where it says "Input Image Filename(s)" use the button the has the three dots to the right of the text field to browse to your iso you want to convert. Always choose the cue or ccd or mds to convert..that way the program knows better how to build it (I have better results that way) if your cue, ccd, or mds sheets are wrong..(not pointing to the correct iso/bin file) it will fail.

As a last resort you can convert without using the ccd, cue, or mds

in the output directory field you choose where you want it to be written or you can tick the box that says "use input directory"

@akafox Wait... I don't have any .iso , I mean, i have .cue and .bin, and when I click to "convert" with the format ".iso" selected, it appears a warning, that says that if I use .iso the references of the tracks will be lost.

It is in spanish, I can translate it if you want.

@boltio3 Ok... Just to make sure, I converted it and the music seems to work, (in the .cue and .bin it works also) but it have exactly the same graphic problem.

Edit: I don't know if I converted it the right way.

@boltio3 Looks more like an emulator problem than a media problem.

@mitu Well, in that case I can try the other emulator "lr-beetle-saturn" but i don't have the right bios for it.
It will be so helpful if someone can tell me how is it called the .zip where it comes and then I'll renamed it the right way.

@mitu Yes, well I use this page https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Saturn I know that the name should be "sega_101.bin" but when you find bios, you find them with another name, so I don't know what will be the one that should be renamed, because i've tried before with random bios that I renamed myself, but haven't worked.
(In the other emulator @jonnykesh helped me to find the name of the .zip of the right bios and it worked).

@boltio3 I say iso loosely..sorry I mean the image file itself..you want to use the cue/bin and convert them..NOT convert to ISO format. You are fine with a cue/bin format...

@mitu I have to agree I think it is more an emulation problem..but hey never hurts to "cover all bases"

Again the saturn has ALWAYS been trouble to emulate..much like the Atari Jaguar.
