need help getting after glow xbox one wired controller to work on retropie
-
@cynital and what's the output of that command if you type it in?
-
@cynital A normal phone charger is not an appropriate power source for a Raspberry PI. Please use a proper power adapter to power up your system.
-
@buzz that the module failed ill take a screen shot later but do you have any idea or fix
-
@mitu ok whats a proper power supply?
-
@mitu Ah I didn't notice that - yeah could be power related.
-
-
@buzz is this ok? https://www.amazon.com/Black-Mini-Portable-Charger-Built/dp/B0742NFM65/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1529881809&sr=8-6&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=pocket+juice&dpPl=1&dpID=31-lL4sd5qL&ref=plSrch im going to use it to make the pi portable so i could use it for now
-
@buzz also if its not power related could it be something else or would you have to see the screenshot
-
@cynital That may well not be suitable. I recommend getting a proper/official PSU to rule out power issues.
-
@cynital I would prefer you to copy and paste the output rather than doing a screenshot. Please see the SSH section of the documentation. You can remotely connect to the RPI to get to a terminal to type the commands.
-
@buzz ok ill see what i could do
-
@buzz i found this, he had the same controller as me any other things i could do to make it work (ill try to get the error in ssh in a bit) https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3200/afterglow-prismatic-wired-controller-for-xbox-one
