Sharp X68000, lr-px68k and .m3u files
-
I was just wondering whether anyone has successfully got .m3u files (for multi-disk games) to work with lr-px68k using a Raspberry Pi 3B. I get "bus errors" and a black screen. Lr-px68k works perfectly with .dim files though. Thanks.

I am finding this to be an issue as well. If I launch with the .dim files it is fine, but using m3u files I just get a black screen after the emulator launches. If I look at the drives it shows that the m3u is loaded into FDD0. I can go into RA settings, but nothing seems to make them work.

I can't recall quite how I dealt with this, but .m3u files now work for me. Are you using the latest Retropie and is your Retroarch up to date (mine is 1.7.1)? I had a lot of problems with the controls until I updated Retroarch, but that is probably a different issue from the one you have (and I had). (For some reason, I haven't got in my notes how I fixed the .m3u issue).
Could it be a ram/memory issue? Some of the games work very well with 1mb but many require more. I've set mine to 12mb. The way to do this is to enter Retroarch. Once in Retroarch, go to options and there you will find the memory option. Change that to 12mb and then save core option override and exit Retroarch.
When I'm at home, I'll have a look at which drive my .m3u files are attached to and let you know.

@fnkngrv Okay. When I start a .m3u game like Castlevania that has 2 dims and I enter the menu with F12, it shows that dim 1 is on FDD0 and dim 2 is on FDD1. Is that what you have?

@fnkngrv Not sure if you are still having trouble but have you checked the
/dev/shm/
folder for the runcommand log files? They usually give a good indication with libretro cores as to why things aren't working.
