      I'm not sure where the translation options are shown in the menu, if you want to enable from the configuration file I think only 2 options are really needed to start:

      ai_service_enable = "true" input_ai_service = "<key>"

      where <key> should be replaced by the keyboard key that will trigger the translation service. If you're using a gamepad, then input_ai_service becomes input_ai_service_btn and the value should be the code for the input button you want to use (i.e. input_ai_service_btn = "11") - you can find out the values for each button by looking at your gamepad configuration in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads/<gamepad_name>.cfg.

      @mitu
      Yes, I manually edit the gamelist files all the time to add games not picked-up by scrappers and to add missing artwork. Other than bad formed .xml formatting I never had any similar errors. Running with the --debug parameter fails to produce a .log file. I think that is since I have to kill the process in order to exit? I found the es_log.txt. It is the same as the pastebin link I posted earlier which doesn't seem to indicate the missing path.

      Even though unlisted, xdf seems to be supported by the libretro px68k core. You can add the new extension as explained here:

      create the /opt/retropie/configs/all/platforms.cfg file (or, via file shares, at \\retropie\configs\all add to the file: x68000_exts=".dim .hdf .hdm .2hd .d88 .m3u .xdf" reinstall the lr-px68k libretro core.

      Copy the .xdf floppy image to the system's folder and restart EmulationStation.

      EDIT: as an alternative, if the game has multiple floppies, you can create a playlist in .m3u format and load that instead.

      @stevethefish76 what you're describing there doesn't sound like a crash to me, but without the full error message and all the other stuff in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first i can't really diagnose.

      but if it works now i'm not sure there's much utility in doing any of that :)

      @mitu I cannot find Disc Control function in RetroArch's menu: should you tell me the path where it is?

      It's in the Quick Menu:

      @mitu Thanks a lot. Tonight I'll give it a try!

      @mitu thanks for replying .I was trying to get the x68k emulator swap-disks to work rather than the retroarch's . its odd that there are not any info about it on the internet! it got to be a common issue. anyways I gave up :) its seems retroarch is a much easier option now.

      thanks again.your guides on this website helped me alot with the whole retropie/launchbox thing . I appreciate it.

      @fnkngrv Not sure if you are still having trouble but have you checked the /dev/shm/ folder for the runcommand log files? They usually give a good indication with libretro cores as to why things aren't working.

      @mitu You were correct, thanks. Updating Retropie (and RetroArch) worked. Lr-px68k works as it should.

      I'm busy copying across various manually installed emulators and then I'll turn to the Final Burn Alpha romset.....
