      Hi,

      Awesome new forum guys!

I've been planning my build for a couple of weeks now - I've been using it to teach my five year old son some basic electronics and computer skills. Tomorrow almost all of the parts will arrive (flat pack bar-top cabinet kit, buttons etc etc) and my 19" . I'm keeping track of our progress on my new-ish blog over at http://www.geekydad.me/

I'll try and update this post too with small updates as and when I have time. Anyone else starting a build soon and want to give each other some encouragement?

This sounds like a funny educational project. I will definitely follow your process, and I might get some awesome ideas on how to proceed with my own bartop arcade :)
