      Hello,

I'm in the process of organizing my PSX collection.
Now I'm faced with the challenge that I have several different formats / images as a basis, which I would like to convert into one *.pbp file per game (not per disc) for reasons of storage and clarity. Now I have to ask myself, what is the best way to proceed with the respective output formats?

      1 x *.bin + 1 x *.cue
      1 x *.bin
      1 x *(Track 1).bin + 1 x *(Track 2).bin
      1 x *(Track 1).bin + 1 x *(Track 2).bin + 1 x *.cue

Thank you very much for your support!

@Eims just a heads up the lr-pcsxrearmed now supports .chd files, which would be preferable to .pbp. You can combine multiple disc .bin/.cue files into one .chd. That way you have just one compressed file per game. Saves space and is easy to organize.

See .chd archive section for instructions:

chd would only compress one CD image though, it won't help for multi-disk games.
@Eims I don't understand your question - if you intend to convert all your games to .pbp, why are you concerned with .cue/.bin files ?

@quicksilver Thanks, I'll try that one out.
@mitu Well, I have the .bin and .cue files currently available and would like to process them further.

OK, so you should be able to convert them to .pbp - isn't this what you intend to do ? If the .cue file is correct, then that's all you need.

Note that some CDs don't have only 1 .cue + 1 .bin, if the CD has both a data track and multiple audio trackes, you'd have multiple .bin files.
For instance, In the Hunt has alot of audio tracks, so the .cue should be accompanied by multiple .bin files - http://redump.org/disc/7676/.
