      when i launch a game it wont boot and sends me back to the catalogue

      • list item I downloaded the scph5500.bin scph5501.bin scph5502.bin files, with the names in lowercase (i tried with uppercase names and nothing changes)

      • list item my psx games are .cue

      • list item i updated the lr-beetle-psx package, even tried removing it and installing it
        Im using ubuntu on an old intel pc

        Do you have the corresponding .bin files, referenced in the .cue ? Check if the filenames match - Linux is case sensitive.

          @mitu yes, they have the corresponding filenames

          if i use lr-pcsx_rearmed they work

            Enable verbose logging from the launch menu and post your emulator log file (/dev/shm/runcomand.log) on pastebin.com.

                The HW core needs OpenGL 3.3, but your GPU might not support it. You didn't offer any specifics about your configuration - you may want to check if your GPU has the proper GL support.

                    @JustNiko02 Run glxinfo from a terminal and check the version reported by the program. See https://askubuntu.com/questions/47062/what-is-terminal-command-that-can-show-opengl-version.
