      is there a way to work retroachievements when I renamaed .cue files for multidisc games to. CD1, CD2 and so on?

      https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Playstation-1/

      or better do not use this tutorial for work retroachievements?
      For example MGS retro achievements works, but when rename .cue files to .CD1 it's not detecting any retroachievements for this game.

        The way I was able to get this to work was to use bin/cue for everything except for multidisc games. For multidisc games, I used an m3u and chd files. For example, my m3u file looks like this:

        Final Fantasy VII (Disc 1).chd
        Final Fantasy VII (Disc 2).chd
        Final Fantasy VII (Disc 3).chd

        This will make achievements work for multidisc games.

        As a side note, this may cause some clutter in your game list. I have the setting enable to only parse my gamelist.xml, so only the m3u shows up, not the chd files. An alternative would be to edit your es_systems.cfg to remove chd and CHD from the extensions, if you're only using bin/cue like I am.

          @ffaddic hmm
          I edited es_systems.cfg and renamed these CD1/2 (old .cue) files and edited m3u file, but achievements still doesn't work
