Tested this on a fresh install of 4.0.2 to make sure. Seems there's a bug with Retroarch when I set it to save config on exit (per core). It saves the config, but the save on exit feature stays on and can't turn it off from within Retroarch, will default back to on. You have to remotely set it to "false" in the config file through winscp etc. Definitely didn't happen on previous versions; would always default to off. Find this a bit dangerous. Could really screw things up if you don't know exactly what you're doing.
