    Hi!

How is joy2key working? I want to map keys for the game port dune legacy.
So I need to start joy2key with a mapping configuration before starting the game, right?

Can someone help me where to start? Can you give me an example?
    Thanks!

joy2key is an internal RetroPie utility that translates gamepad buttons/inputs to keyboard keys, used for the dialog based menus in RetroPie-Setup or the runcommand launch menu. It works by creating a 'virtual' keyboard device and translating joystick inputs to keyboard inputs.
It's not meant to be used as a general purpose re-mapping tool, so there's not guarantee it will work the way you want and there's no configuration - it only remaps certain buttons to certain keys.

      I'd recomment using xboxdrv as a general re-mapping application - see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Universal-Controller-Calibration-%26-Mapping-Using-xboxdrv/.
