      Hello all,
I did have my Raspberry Pi 3 working perfectly but I made a mistake and had to format it. I have tried version 4.1 and I cannot get the onboard Bluetooth to work with my PS3 controller. I've gone through installing the drivers and it's having none of it. Here is the strange thing though, the same process works on the Raspberry Pi 2 though (with dongles). If I put that card into the RPi3 with those dongles it works too. So my assumption is the issue is the Bluetooth driver and/or pairing.

Again I cannot work out why it was working but not now. I don't recall doing anything different. So here is the question:

Have I missed something I need to do? I know the Bluetooth dongle works and the onboard should.
Could I copy a file from the RPi2 to force pairing?

My next thoughts are to use the RPi2 for the install and then once work put that card in the RPi3 and set the clock, memory speeds manually.

Strangely I cannot get Retropie-manager on the RPi2 to work but it's fine in the RPi3...but that's a different issue. Lol.

      Can anyone help?

I'm in the same boat, my ds3 controller doesn't work with 4.1, I have a raspberry pi 3B (no dongles). Sigh... might have to go back to 4.0.1.

I can't understand why it was working fine on 4.0.2 but now longer does. I've tried the same image with no luck. I'm having to assume possibly the 'source' for the PS3 controller has changed since the update?

Going to try using Berryboot and see if there is any difference.
          (Edit: Nope. Too old)

@Ristul the ps3controller is built from source, so rolling back wouldn't fix it in this case. However it should now work if you remove / reinstall. There was a patch accepted yesterday that had an error.
