KOF 98 on @Retropie 4.1 help??

I just can't seem to get KOF 98 running on any emulators on retropie 4.1. I'd tried lr-fbalpha, PiFBA, GnGeo-Pi, lr-mame2003, lr-imame4all,
lr-mame2010, AdvanceMAME. None seems to be able to run King Of Fighters 98.Anyone manage to get it running please advise me how to do it.

@rainel Works fine for me on my Pi 3 running RetroPie 4.1.5 (e5fb6a0) using lr-fbalpha
Remember that Neo-Geo games require the Neo-Geo BIOS.

@rainel kof98.zip. I used the one from the MAME 0.78 reference set.

nope still can't get it to work....i can play kof 94-97 and 99-2003, but can't get kof98 to work...is there any settings i need to take note of?
tried running both roms kof98.zip & kof98n.zip on lr-fbalpha with neogeo bios in the rom folder...still not able to run it. My pi 3 is already running on 4.1.5 and updated all emulators already.
Anyone can enlightened me?

@rainel Have you checked if there's any specific error logged in /dev/shm/runcommand.log ?

hi guys, thanks for help. finally got it fixed. download the entire romset and it works....weird that i download the single rom from some popular website but doesn't work

It's not wierd. Downloading single roms is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. How do you know which version you are downloading? If it was not a 0.78 rom, like the one you grabbed, it will not work.
