Hello everyone! I have read every post I can find about this issue and tried everything I can think of. Nothing's worked.

The only games I care to get 4 player support working for is for the Bomberman series on SNES.

I have RetroPie 4.1 running on a Raspberry Pi Zero. There is no option in the Quick Menu (while running a game) to change the input to Multitap. I have gone into the SNES config file and added the line: input_libretro_device_p2 = "257" to no effect.

I tried to follow the information on this thread:

      https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3283/how-to-configure-4-pads-for-bomberman-snes/5

      But I've had no success.

I have four controllers working in EmulationStation, but as soon as I load into an SNES game, only two controllers work.

Prior to this I built this same setup on a Raspberry Pi 3, and I WAS able to get 4 player support to work in the SNES Bomberman games by adding that aforementioned line of code to the SNES config file. So I'm not sure why it's not working for my Zero!

If I'm missing something, or need to provide more information, please let me know! I'm new to Raspberry Pi's and RetroPie.

I'm having the same issue. What version of RetroPie was working with your Raspberry Pi 3?
