Bluetooth game controller
-
I've got a new bluetooth game controller I'm trying to get working with RetroPie 4 with no luck. It connects in the bluetooth settings and shows up there as an active gamepad, but Emulation Station is not recognizing it. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I've installed the extra drivers for xbox, ps3, and arcade joypad...still can't get it to work. The controller shows that it is connected but like I said, ES is not recognizing it.

Thanks!

claymunson81My suggestion is to go and uninstall all of those drivers until only the xpad driver remains. Then, see if jstest recognizes the inputs from the controller. If the inputs are seen you could then try to edit your es_input.cfg and input the controller config directly. Another option would be to delete the es_input.cfg file. If you delete it and reboot then Emulationstation should prompt you to set up your controls again.
