First off I'm using a mayflash USB controller adapter.

So I have something strange going on and I'm not sure where to look for advice/input on this issue...

I just purchased a gc analog joystick replacement for my original N64 controller. For all of you out there that has dealt with these controllers, know all too well how easily these joysticks wear out... Well, I managed to map my OTHER (w/ original joystick) N64 controller fine using jstest.

Now this is where things get weird.. I plugged this controller with the new joystick in. Assuming my dead zone and peak changed drastically from the original. While running jstest, any button depression would act up like it had turbo.

So I tried putting the old joystick back, WHILE the controller was plugged in. It ran fine in jstest, so I assumed it was the joystick that was causing the issue. Just incase I swapped the joysticks back (again) while the controller was still plugged in and it worked fine! But of course that immediately changed when I unplugged the controller and then plugged it back in to the mayflash USB controller adapter.

I also tested the controller on my actual N64 console and had no issues what so ever.

    ANY ideas?
