Hi to everyone here, I'm new to the forum.
I'm looking into reusing my old controls from my Mame machine I built back on 2003. I used an original Ipac as an interface for the buttons. The ipac has the ps2 connections not usb. I believe I can use a ps2 to usb adapter to connect it the raspberry pi and would probably have to figure out the mapping for all the buttons. My questions is that I would like to add a trackball. I used a trackball mouse with my Mame machine and it was connected straight into the computer. It worked great. That mouse is broken so I was looking into one of these. alt text

Is it possible to use this type of trackball with retropie and the Ipac?
This is a picture of my ipac. alt text

Any help and guidance will be appreciated. Thank you.
