Psp problems?

@mountaindew117 eboots go in the psx rom folder.
-
When some of those programs create an eboot, they sometimes package the files in a zip with cd artwork and other files that the psp needs to play them. If that is the case, you need to go into that zip file, remove the .pbp file and just use that as your game for retropie. Not the whole zip file.

@Beretta9 I have it in the roms folder but it's still not showing up

what's the full file path of your file, including extension?
eg:
/home/pi/roms/RetroPie/psx/mygame.pbp

Am I doing that right or am I completely missing something?
Please describe what you are doing.
am I not doing something correctly
What are you doing?
Also is it possible to transfer files from my computer to my pi via ethernet cable, plug into each other kinda like a Lan line? And using Filezilla to transfer all my content this away?
Yes, I use winscp, best place to start is:
https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first - which I think you have missed somehow. Then onto this:

Also, once you get everything sorted out so they show up in the ROM list, you should also look at the PSP compatibility list as well? Some games just won't work, period (which ironically for me, was every single PSP game I wanted to play ;(

I have watched etas video before using the file browser over my WiFi connection but the pi losses connection to my Internet during data transfers.
I have been using psx2psp to make eboot files for my psx games and putting them in my roms folder under the psx folder then I reboot the pi but the psx emulator still doesn't show up

ls -l /home/pi/RetroPie/psx

Got it to work found out that the file never fully transferred over and thats why it wasn't showing up. Also if you use filezilla to transfer files over a ethernet cable make sure you use port number 22 or it will not let you connect to the pi
