Come on guys. Must have a solution. Or should i buy an Intel Compute Stick, which is compatible with ePsex emulator, which runs this game and others perfectly?

You might as well build a pc emulator and load up Hyperspin.

@horaciowm That's a CCD image format (Clone CD image) and that's because it doesn't work.

After converted to cue+bin it works for me with mednafen psx core, but I suppose it will work with any core after conversion to the right format.

I used CDmage for doing that, only takes to me 1 min.

Just drag the .cue file on the left box and click on file>save as...

              CDmage: http://www.mediafire.com/file/qiccft4dmadinif/CDmage1-02-1B5.zip Only 600kb.

              Regards.

@Nismo Hi! Thanks for trying to help me. I tried. Got the cue file, openned with CDmage, saved as .cue. Same problem. Tried with more than two ROM files versions. Can you try too?

@horaciowm I tried , it works for me, you are selecting the bad cue, try the new cue, not the old one.

@Nismo The game ROM. Not the CDmage.

I tried @Nismo directions and then tested with lr-pcsx-rearmed and pcsx-rearmed and had the same issues with it loading up with the PSX logo intro then to a black screen. I believe Nismo is testing with the Beetle/Mednafen PSX core which is for x86 systems only.

@backstander Yeah. I think the same. Mednafen isn't avaiable for Raspberry PI 3's Retropie.

I broke down and gave the download a try. I was able to play it using the Mednafen PSX RetroArch core without any modification. However, using the same BIOS, I was unable to get it to load with any of the available PSX options in RetroPie. I know it's disappointing, but it could be that this game is simply unplayable on RetroPie.

@mediamogul yes I tested on Windows but I think libretro cores are cross platform
and the same improvements in all systems.

I might be misunderstanding you, but the Mednafen PSX RetroArch core isn't available for RetroPie.
