Pi Model or other hardware: PI 3 Model B
      Power Supply used: Official Supply
RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest): 4.1.14
      Built From: Rasbian and retropie_setup.sh
USB Devices connected: single usb HDD
      Controller used: Xbox 360
Error messages received: Is out of system path
      Guide used: Manual Installation (https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/manual-installation)
How to replicate the problem: Unknown

I have my roms on my PC and I have used symlinks to link them to the Pi and all was working fine, until today when I booted up and got the "is out of system path" error and I have no idea why.

I used this to make the links sudo ln -s /mnt/roms/GAMES/roms /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/Games

Replace Games with the actual path.

I have my windows drives mounted via fstab and they mount fine and I can see the contents just fine.

Any idea why emulationstation is throwing its toys out of the pram?
