I really like it! It makes me want a 3D printer even more. I don't speak much German, but the videos were very nicely done and it's a quality build.

I would love to see a picture of the back without cables plugged in. I would love to see how that is set up.

+1 for this. With all of those 3D printed parts I bet it's pretty sweet.

Thank you, there are English subtitles, but they are actually pretty bad, just gone through the Google translator 😉 overall I loved the 3D printed parts too, it brings such projects just with a fingertip more quality.

I Find the space within this case pretty ok, the next step will be an hard drive instead of the sd card to boot from it up and have extremely more space for roms to store on.

@Cape-City in the video it doesnt give a very good look at the back. I have a pistation myself but i kept the original controller ports and even the original a/v port. I really like how it all came out in yours, except im a fan of using original game controllers so the front usb ports are out for me. I only have one usb port in the back of the system where the i/o port used to be. I attached my hdd to the inside of the disc drive lid. Then i rigged my eject mechanism so the lid could not be opened. Overall i really like all the parts you used. Nice and clean.

Hope this ones have a better look on it.

The original controller would be cool, right, but i think i will get a pair of PS3 Wireless controller. They are working pretty
well with the built-in bluetooth from the raspberry pi 3.

@Cape-City i like your sd card slot. Thats awesome. I have a 9000 model so i didnt have the parallel i/o slot to use.

Moved to Japan 10 years ago. Live here ever since.

I have 2 junk PSX with that parallel port but I got no 3D printer. Let's be honest here, which normal civilian owns a 3D printer?! :-)

I don't have a 3D printer aswell :D But there are existing many 3D print studios, which do such jobs for a couple of bucks.
Also the cheapiest quality, like in my case, impressed me very much! With 3D printed parts those kind of projects get a extremly professional touch, i think.

You can just ignore the LAN port and audio jack out, using only wlan and audio via hdmi. then u don't need the parallel
port in the case or you have to cut this slot out by hand with a dremel or so.

@Cape-City i have been done with mine for a while but some good stuff when i need to do one for my buddy. Do you have a link for the parts you bought?

I saw somebody else use very similar 3D printed parts for his PSX Pi conversion on YouTube as well. Gives it a clean finish, but I agree with @edmaul69 that I wanted to keep the original pads so added usb into where the memory card slot was on my build.
