PS1 change disk problem
-
@Dominus works in 4.2 for me. i edited my playstation 3's controller configs and made hotkeys for the eject, disc prev and disk next. you could do this for your controller config but you need to match your controllers numbers. i set disk prev and next on the bumper. i put disk eject on "x" and moved menu to "b"
input_menu_toggle_btn = "14" input_reset_btn = "1" input_enable_hotkey_btn = "0" input_exit_emulator_btn = "3" input_disk_eject_toggle_btn = "12" input_disk_next_btn = "11" input_disk_prev_btn = "10"

@edmaul69 Yeah but will that work in SegaCD? Next disc doesn't always work with all games.

Any help here guys? Mostly looking to swap SegaCD games.
-
When going to append disk image, it doesn't show any files in any folders.
I just tested this with SegaCD and it shows the files and appends discs for me.
-
@mediamogul im on retropie 4.2.2 and it shows absolutely 0 files to append. No files show up. Only folders.
-
Was it just the last update that caused this?
-
What version of RetroArch are you using?
/opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch --version
Edit:
Mine is:
RetroArch: Frontend for libretro -- v1.5.0 -- 51581e1 -- Compiler: GCC (4.9.2) 32-bitBuilt: Mar 19 2017
-
@mediamogul mine is the exact same as yours.
-
@mediamogul Yep I get the same version as well.

-
@mediamogul awesome! Please let us know.

Well, I thought me being able to append discs might have something to do with the Netplay fix I have on my setup, but I disabled it and I'm still able to browse, select and append discs regardless. The only other thing off the top of my head that I can think of is that I have the content directory path pointed to my ROMs folder, so that might be worth trying.
-
@mediamogul what do you meant content directory path? Do you mean where it is setup to automatically look for the roms?
-
I'm almost certain it wouldn't make a difference here, but it's the following setting in
/opt/retroarch/configs/all/retroarch.cfg
.rgui_browser_directory = "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms"
Edit:
Do you mean where it is setup to automatically look for the roms?
yes indeed.

@Dominus @mediamogul this was the fix. I put this in my segacd/retroarch.cfg and it works. It shows up now.
-
Ha! Too funny. I wonder why that even matters?
-
@mediamogul not sure. Im just glad it works.
-
@mediamogul i did however point it directly to my secacd folder since i put this in the /segacd/retroarch.cfg
