[Solved] 8BitDo NES30 Pro doesn´t detected
-
Hello,
I try to connect an 8BitDo NES30Pro Controller with my Retropie but it doesn´t works.
I updated the setup script and follow the instruction on github.com.But if I click on "Register and Connect to Bluetooth devices", the searching window is displayed and it´s there until I reboot the retropie. I try it again and again but always the same result. I just see "Searching..." and he found nothing.
I use the current version of retropie and the controller. (I try with 1.72 too) Also I try in the normal mode (slow blue flash) and the pairing mode (fast blue flash).
I hope someone can help me... Thanks! :)

@DarkWolf : That is exactly the way I do.
Maybe I found the Problem but I can´t fix it.
Bluetooth Status -> Active : failed (Result: exit-code)
Bluetooth Start -> bluetooth.serviceJob for bluetooth.service failed. See ´systemctl status bluetooth.service´and ´journalctl -xn´for details. -
Hello good news, I found the mistake. It seems so, because I used a PS3 Controller the bluetoothchip has been disabled. I delete the settings for the PS3 Controller and after than everything works fine.
I found this command: "sudo sixad --stop"
I hope it solved my problem even after a reboot.

If you don't use PS3 controller anymore, the best is to remove sixad via retropie_setup script.
You could also disable sixad with systemctl, or sixad will start at boot, disabling normal bluetooth stack. -
@BobbyDigital are you putting the controller in the correct search mode?
-
Yes, everything is fine. The problem was the PS3 Controller.

@BobbyDigital you can have both. If you need to install a bluetooth device all you have to do is unistall the ps3 driver. Then when you are finished reinstall the ps3 driver. When you want to add more bluetooth devices, remove the ps3 driver. Wash rinse repeat.
