      @mitu Thanks,

      It was mesa 24.2.8. I downgraded with your script and my wine games run fine again in fullscreen.

      It also resolve black screen issue in lr-flycast/lf-flycast-dev on pi5.

      @DTEAM That's not how you run X11 programs. Please install and then start a normal desktop session that will allow in turn to run the desired (X11 based) programs from it.

      Thanks @mitu!

      I did these tests with just the default RetroPie 4.7.1, though I did sudo apt update; sudo apt upgrade to get all the latest packages.

      Let me know if this information helps:

      pi@retropie:~$ uname -a Linux retropie 5.4.72-v7l+ #1356 SMP Thu Oct 22 13:57:51 BST 2020 armv7l GNU/Linux pi@retropie:~$ lsb_release --all No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Raspbian Description: Raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster) Release: 10 Codename: buster

      "Now for me to look at the easiest way to back up what I've done on my SD card in future so I can revert."

      If you are using windows just use win32disk imager. Its basically just the inverse of putting the image on the card. I have learned to always make an image back up before making any major changes to my setup.
