@300cpilot Purge would remove the system's config files, not any user configuration files - that's a rule for all packages. Glad you got it fixed.

thanks, but i use that already.
I control my Pi (Kodi etc.) with the same (One-4-all) remote i use for my TV, DVD and
the switchable IR-Powersupply.
Very nice having just one remote for all.....

But controlling the pi is one thing.... to reset him is the other.
When the pi hangs, you can´t restart it with the IR-diode, i can only switch off the power
