title says it all, i have a 4 player setup running on raspberry pi 3 and when I plug the trackball into usb spot on raspberry it bogs down the system and it gets really laggy and then i get the color block on screen meaning pi isnt getting enough power? so how can i run the trackball without it sucking all the power out if this is whats going on? thanks for any help or tips.

Check to make sure none of the spare trackball button wires inside aren't touching each other.
