scrape Neo-Geo box art with sselph-scraper?
-
it would be would preferable to have the AES box art covers instead of title snaps.
the roms are from the FB Alpha 0.2.97.39 reference set, and have shortened filenames (aof.zip, doubledr.zip, mslug.zip, etc). i placed them in the roms/neogeo folder. thegamesdb metadata being scraped is spotty, but i can do some manual cleanup of gamelist.xml
is there a setting i could edit or bit i could flip somewhere to scrape the box art for these badboys?
there is a closed issue referencing this here: https://github.com/sselph/scraper/issues/92

There isn't a way to do it from the RetroPie-setup menu. I don't know how to make an ordered list with the dialog program used to generate the RetroPie-setup menus. I'll try and give you some instructions here to make this work on a command line. Exit EmulationStation and get to a command line.
cd ~/RetroPie/roms/neogeo /opt/retropie/supplementary/scraper/scraper -mame -mame_img="b" -mame_src="gdb,ss"
This will scrape thegamesdb then fall back to screenscraper.fr. you can swap those around if you prefer ss.
