Hi there. I've been trying to set up a retropie for a friend for months. I am running raspbian on a Pi Zero, and installed Retropie. But no matter what I do, I cannot get an authentic PS3 controller to work on it. It never connects via bluetooth (I have the dongle connected to the Pi Zero).

Take the microsd out, put it on my pi 3, and it works just fine.

I have tried a couple different bluetooth dongles. One is this:
      https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-4-0-Costech-Compatible-computers/dp/B01BQO3QZO/ref=sr_1_14?s=electronics&rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1487612311&sr=1-14&keywords=usb+bluetooth&refinements=p_72%3A1248879011%2Cp_85%3A2470955011

      the other is this:
      http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-Bluetooth-USB-2-0-CSR4-0-Dongle-Adapter-For-Win-8-7-XP-Laptop-PC-Amazing-FH-/322213955103

Neither work. Not sure if its a driver issue between the Pi Zero and the dongle, or the dongle and the controller.

As far as I can tell, the PS3 controller is authentic. It passes all the counterfeit tests and works perfectly on Pi3.

Is it just a lot of bad luck with bluetooth dongles? Any suggestions?

      Thanks
