Hey guys, I've got an issue with my build of retropie. I think it's the neopi pipiggies 32gb version that you can download. Anyway, forget the build for a moment as I'm sure it's common on other builds too. My issue is that the build i'm using had been heavily customised for a 1080p display. I don't use a 1080p display so it causes me a headache. I could just search for another build and have done with it, but I didn't like any of the other ones I tried and at 32 gb, I don't have the patience to download too many of these. When I load up a game through mame2003 the game loads up in a funny resolution and I have an overlay for that game loaded up over the top. The bezel is a different size to the game behind it, so it overlaps the game and the game isn't loaded to my displays native resolution (1024x600). When I load up the game I get a message saying "override loaded" or something similar. I need to disable and remove all customisation on my build and go with stock settings. I don't want any bezels or filters or any resizing of the game screen, I just want it in standard 4:3 with black borders to the left and right. Any ideas?

@ballboff Third party pirate images are not supported on this forum. Go ask whoever put the image together.

@jonnykesh I appreciate that, and my query doesn't relate to the build itself. My query is with the override settings in retroarch that I need help with.

@ballboff I think that's kind of what he's getting at. We don't really know what customizations that particular build has, and how to revert them.

You may go to /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg and edit the main settings there, but do so carefully so that you don't break anything. The settings you may be looking for would have "overlay" in them, and probably there's one that says "enabled" which you do need to set to false.

If not there, there are different folders under /opt/retropie/configs/with the different emulator configs, but you'd probably be better off downloading a stock RetroPie image and start from there.
