I have 2 RetroPie setups. One 128gb and on 64gb w hard drive. Thankfully I had them backed up.
When I went to "update all installed packages" as I usually do once a month, it gets to a section while updating called something like "LSB Controllblock service" and a timer comes up and the system shuts off. When you restart, it goes back to that spot and shuts off again. Has anyone else seen this problem? Is it happening to everyone?
      Thanks.

@psikyo I think yes, you should disable/uninstall the ControlBlock driver if you don't have one attached to your PI and you'll not have this problem.

I re flashed my card, removed power and controll block, and was able to update. Thanks !
Do you know if I will need either of these to use a Nespi case, or if I re install them will the same thing happen?

@psikyo The question is simple - do you have a ControlBlock device or not ? The NesPI case does not - by default - have one, so I don't see why you'd need the driver installed.

Ok. Thanks for the answer !
Wasn't sure if you needed that driver for any on/off switch hooked up to the pins.
