Can I Use Original Xbox Controller Ports With RaspberryPi,Retropie?

Hey guys, for my project I am taking apart the original Xbox and was wondering if I could some how use the old controller ports with RaspberryPi, Retropie as in I could use the Original Xbox controller in plug and play just plug it into the original ports and everything should be good. And if I could do that how would I do that would I have to solder Gpio pins on Pi or have to solder USB's on Pi

Are you talking about using the order final Xbox controllers? If so, the Xbox controller port itself is actually a modified USB port. I don't know if there is a driver for it that would work. I'm not sure if you'd be able to connect them to the GPIO pins directly.
