When will we be seeing the offical version of retropie for the pie 3+
-
I know there is a beta build out there. I hear it's working out grate. Just wondering when there going to release the full stable version which will be able to download from the site?
-
BuZz, alongside many others, has been testing the early images and progress can be followed here. All that can really be said is that it's steadily moving toward completion and it'll be ready just as soon as it's ready.
-
And it's simple enough to update from the beta once there is a final release as I don't anticipate too many major changes before release
-
Very soon now. Unfortunately (only in regards to timing) they just bumped the kernel so I want to do some final testing. I may do a release candidate on the forum this weekend. Hopefully a new official image next week.

Nice news !
Do you plan to merge @psyke83 sixaxis version ? -
Meh im waiting on good cases to come out anyways so I don't really care at the moment.
-
@sano not until it's ready.
-
@buzz Obviously :)
-
Will the stretch version become retropie 4.4 as well?
-
@drakaen391 yep.
-
@buzz I might work the beta into my build while the card is out for some code cleaning
