      Hi gents,

      I am trying to use two USB controllers (same model) with Amiberry. I have learnt from this post on Github that Amiberry needs the two controllers to have different names to be recognised correctly.
      Also, from this other post on this forum, I have understood how to rename controllers. However, I only have 1 config file, I assume because the two controllers are exactly the same model:

      $ ls -la  /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/autoconfig/
      total 12
      drwxr-xr-x  2 pi pi 4096 Apr 17 16:48 .
      drwxr-xr-x 16 pi pi 4096 Apr 16 21:27 ..
      -rw-r--r--  1 pi pi  598 Apr 16 21:32 usb gamepad           .cfg

      Any hint on how to assign the two controllers different names? Or alternatively, does any of you know how to use both controllers on Amiberry?

        @mirkog i cannot confirm that, i have two 8BitDo's running perfect with amiberry without renaming anything.
        No Problems at all, i had some Archon and Winter Games Sessions with a friend and it worked great.

          @sirhenrythe5th thanks for your answer... I only tried a couple of games (Bubble Bobble and Pang) and in both cases, one controller works and the other character is controlled with the mouse (but with some weird behaviour - such as the character constantly jumping or moving either left or right.

          Just for my understanding, you moved the ROM to the Amiberry folder and you launched the game without passing by the Amiberry config?

            @mirkog ok, i see!
            Indeed i changed the controls under "custom controls" and set "Port0" and "Port1" to my joypads and finally saved that config.
            I had an Amiga2000 back in 1989 (to 1991) and therefore was used to this procedure.
            You had to pull out the mouse and insert a joystick on the real machine too 😉
