Reordering controllers in Gliden64
-
I'm running my pi4 in a nes shell and have an internal nes to usb adapter that was defaulted to controller 1 until I changed it in configuration editor->all libretro->joypad order. It works for all the emulators I use except for the n64 where i need to use Gliden64 for some games. I've tried editing the mupen64plus.cfg as my understanding is that gliden64 is just a different video plugin for mupen64 and it doesnt have its own cfg for controller options. I swap the "[Input-SDL-Control1]" and "# Specifies which joystick is bound to this controller: -1=No joystick, 0 or more= SDL Joystick number device = 1" along with swaping the position of both entries. However the file is changed back every time I run the emulator.
Am I doing something wrong or is there a better way to change the controller order for gliden64 specifically?

If anyone else has this problem, it seems that InputAutoCfg.ini is what you are supposed to edit. Changing plugged to false just gave a no controller message. Since I didnt see any section for order, I changed the order of the controller configs but that didnt change anything. However just deleting the nes gamepad section worked and now my bluetooth controller is controller 1. It also stayed that way through restarting.
