Playable - Some of those need to be set with frameskip = Auto , some systems have imperfect sound and have problems with main screen, but games are ok most of the time.

If I forgot some handheld All in 1 consoles from the 0.225 MAME Romset, feel free to share It. For Mame driver and comments, see here . Just with this driver (nes_vt.cpp), they propose 103 All in One mini arcades . ~~Still a lot of testing to do!~~ Some other drivers are vt_unknown.cpp, vt1682.cpp, spg2xx_zone_32bit.cpp and all spg2.... .cpp . The tests are finished. It took me a long time but I think it might interest a few people and it makes another system or category to create in retropie. These roms are smalls and contain some good games.

Thanks for your support. Same with me, I discovered new stuffs to add to my Pi and I like that. MAME romset is like a flea market where you can find unsuspected treasures! Games just need to be tested and organized properly to be presented as a system on Pi. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it.
Note: For "All in one Handheld and Plug & Play ~~consoles~~ " , I added hyperlinks pointed on pictures of the consoles.

Thanks! I'll take a look on that. xavix.cpp seems to be another driver to watch. See this game sample It's "Bandai - Let's! TV Play Classic" and they have more from EPOCH . I'll dig It more.

Another question, who adds the systems in the generic Retropie theme "carbon"? Konami Handheld games, Tiger Electronics Handheld games, Tiger Electronics R-Zone, Classic Handheld games, All in one handheld and plug & play ~~consoles~~ and JAKKS Pacific TV Games maybe could be added someday.

By the way, all that represent another big "game scraping" challenge... again LOL.

only mame standalone. You can use binary precombiled in experimental menu.
Note: With mame romset , you have access to almost the entire Nintendo Game & Watch collection (52 games) including Zelda . Those roms starts by gnw_xxxx.7z (example.: gnw_zelda.7z or .zip)

Anyone can submit a PR to the Carbon theme Github repository - https://github.com/RetroPie/es-theme-carbon. For scraping, support has to be added to either the EmulationStation scraper (must be supported by the scraping source) or one of the external scrapers (Skyscraper, Selph's Scraper).

@zerojay Watch Mario10 on sy889 (game 5). This is one of the weirdest version I've seen. It's a Hack of Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu with Mario.

I am working to create my own XMLs for all these systems (including All in one Handheld and Plug & Play). I am not an expert in .png artwork but I put transparent backgrounds and I think it's a good B Plan for now for All in One Handheld and Plug & Play . I built XMLs with informations from Fandom and video packs, logos packs and console packs from emumovies.com or Google for the other systems.

Would it be possible for you to document a walkthrough for dummies (i.e. me) of the process you did to get it running? Folders, config changes, file and config locations, runcommand, etc? I think I just need a few short paragraphs to get me over the finish line...

Absolutely nothing. Both lr-mame and lr-mess work for everything here for me. I didn't do anything special but compile and install them.
