      Just getting started and wondering if there's a way to scrape metadata for just a single title or a section (like Favorites instead of systems).

      Also, when I do scrape a system it seems to be 100% manual in that I have to approve every single entry even if there's only one image for the ROM. Is there a way to have the scrape just go ahead and apply the first hit or only hit and then, with the first question, edit any wrong entry singularly after the fact?

      Thanks!

        It sounds like you’re using the inbuilt scraper in Emulationstation. I’d suggest using Skyscraper to scrape the meta data for the games. It’s by far the best scraper in Retropie. It’s very easy to use and very flexible. See the link below on how to access it and set it up (I’d suggest sticking with the default settings and see if you like the output).

        If you want to use screenscraper.fr as the source (and I’d suggest you do), then you will need to create an account and enter the details in /home/USER/.skyscraper/config.ini by altering the the following line:
        [screenscraper]
        userCreds="USER:PASSWORD"

          When you start a 'bulk' scraping operation you have an option named User decides on conflicts, you can toggle that off and you'll not be asked anything during scraping.

          To scrape a single game, press Select when you've selected the game in the list and then choose Edit this game's metadata, you'll have the option to scrape there that single game/rom.
