best doom wads to play on retropie ? pi worth it for doom?

im curious guys does doom run well on the pi 4?
i know the base games do but i mean actual wads tho like sunder,sunlust,alien vendetta,scythe,hell revealed etc. stuff like this..
also what are some good ones that run great on the pi that you guys have played?
also what are the best source ports for the pi?
is the pi worth it to buy it just for doom? ( my pc is down atm so ) -
