      Hi there,

i recently met troubles with my XBOX One Controller. The bluetooth signal looks to be really low because i got a high latency when using my XBOX One Controller.

Strange thing, my Logitech keyboard work really fine with a good latency. So maybe the current XPAD drivers natively found on Retropie is causing this latency?

I'am aware about two drivers specific to XBOXController:

      xpadneo
      xboxrdv

Anyone could give advices about which one should be used, and which one is the most easy to install?

For Bluetooth controllers, xpadneo is the best choice at the moment. But the quality of the BT connection is also influenced by other factors (metalic case, Pi model) or local interference. xpadneo can be installed from the Drivers packages section of the RetroPie-Setup script.

The xpad driver doesn't handle the Bluetooth connection, so that's not a reason for the signal quality you're experiencing.

@mitu thanks Mitu. You're right, i'am using metallic box for my Pi4. Maybe that's the reason why it doesnt work well. Thanks. I'll try xpadneo anyway

@nunna78 I installed XPADNEO, and it does not change anything (like you told @mitu ).
I will try to buy a dongle bluetooth and put it outside the metal pi4 box, outside the cabinet full of wires. I should be better. thanks, can close this topic :)

@nunna78 hi there. I must complète this Thread:

XpadNeo: Xbox-One Controller does not fully works on SteamLink. X and R1 Button are not recognized

Xboxdrv: Xbox-One Controller work perfectly on SteamLink.

So if you want to play SteamLink i'll recommand Xboxdrv instead of Xpadneo
