Notes for Pi 4 and Zero 2W
Recent Pi 4 boards (rev 1.5, released late 2021) and the new Pi Zero 2W require a newer firmware and are not compatible with the official 4.7.1 image downloads.You may install manually (use the legacy Buster OS from here), or use the latest weekly builds from https://files.retropie.org.uk/images/weekly/. Download the rpi4_400.img.gz file for a Pi 4 or rpi2_3_zero2w.img.gz for the Pi Zero 2W.

Update: version 4.8 is out with support for both recent Pi4b models and the PiZero 2W.
