      Pi: 3+4 (that's right, a 2 Pi man)
      RetroPie Version: 4.8
      Power supply: Official

Can someone clarify the difference between all these? When I make some changes in RA and they're for the Core I currently go to "overrides" and "save core overrides" which is under Quick Menu and usually works fine (except with MGS on PSX which never saves the high resolution changes I keep making nor the change to analogue stick control). I also notice under main menu there "configuration file" what exact configurations is this saving if I save it?

      Cheers

@hawkes_84 i think you want per-rom core options. instructions for this are linked in the docs for psx double resolution, for example: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Playstation-1/#video-double-internal-resolution

@dankcushions thanks. Everything seems to save now except the overlay on ps1 games. I remove it and save overrides and it's there again when I go into another game.

@hawkes_84 a verbose log as per read this first will show you what overrides are in play. perhaps you have a per-game one that has the bezel. how did you apply them?
