Audio devices not found GPi case

Can you post your entire
config.txt
?
I don't think you need anycmdline.txt
changes, so you can restore the default one that comes with the image. -
@mitu Thank you for answering
I tried reinstalling it with the lastest version available on retropie's web site to see if a clean fresh install would change anything (it didn't). Here's the config.txt that I modified a bit (added 1 line or 2 at the bottom) : https://pastebin.com/ikfRTr67for cmdline.txt I just added "snd_bcm2835.enable_hdmi=1 snd_bcm2835.enable_headphones=1 snd_bcm2835.enable_compat_alsa=1", so I should remove it ?

Are you sure you've not installed Recalbox on it ? The config file you posted is not included with RetroPie and has a lot other configurations for pins 18/19 which may override your own configuration.

Those shouldn't be neeed, you can remove it.

@mitu
No it is the latest version of retropie for rpi0 I could find, not recalbox -
@Souciot quoting your pasted config.txt
# default CEC name cec_osd_name=recalbox
-
@Souciot Check to make sure that the patch you've applied is for RetroPie and not for Recalbox. RetroFlag provides separate config.txt files for each.
-
@Ashpool I don't understand : I used raspberry Pi Imager and flashed retropie (first the image it was offering for retropie and then the image downloaded on retropie.org), and before I just erase any partition or volume on my sdcard so I don't understand where this is coming from...
-
@G30FF in the readme of the patch it's written : "Why need to install display GPi Case patch for Retropie and Recalbox?" so I suppose it shouldn't mess with retropie ?

Ok, sorry my fault, was buffled by that line, but as it seem that is part of the config.txt from the retroflag patch, and from a brief look into it, the only real difference between your posted config.txt and theirs are the additional (last) two lines (#gpi added, dtoverlay=audremap,pins_18_19,enable_jack=on) within yours.
@G30FF If I haven't missed it, for the GPICase (not the 2, nor the 2W) there is only one patch provided (one config.txt and two overlays (screen and audio)).

I only have experience with the GPi Case 2, so my mistake. The GPi Case 2 patch includes one for Recalbox 7, one for Recalbox 8, one for Batocera, and one for RetroPie. I downloaded the GPi Case 1 patch, and I see why the
recalbox
string is there, because it's included in the patched config.txt. Sorry, I won't be much help here.
