LR-scummvm Installation returned error 404
-
Hi, recently switched from 3b to 4b retropie 4.8 and recreating anything I had before, I just wanted to use LR-scummvm again. It can't be installed from either binary nor source.
Binary starts but finishes with error message github[.....]scummvm.zip failed to download.
Curl: (22) the requested URL returned error 404.Then I cleaned and removed, tried source, again something starts but then error message: Could not successfully build LR-scummvm [...] scumm_libreto.so not found.
So far I had no other problems in my old project and not in the new one either. Any idea or is it an error in the source?
Thanks everybody! Andreas

You need to update your RetroPie-Setup script first, before updating your packages.
-
@mitu I believe I did... Was also able to install other packages.
-
@mitu still I will try this, gimme a second
-
@Krautsalat The
lr-scummvm
module doesn't download thescummvm.zip
file anymore, make sure you have the latest version the RetroPie-Script before installinglr-scummvm
again. If that doesn't work, please post the exact version of RetroPie. -
@mitu thanks a lot!

@mitu well, seems it was really that easy, I didn't do the update obviously. Sorry.
But as a warning to anybody else: I am pretty sure something is going very wrong at the moment. Compiling has been running since my last post. From the file names I think the games that were in scummvm folder are beeing processed aswell... Which I don't believe should be the case :D won't abort this now, I will check the result.
