      Hi,

I’ve got an Arcade1Up machine, which I plan on installing a Raspberry Pi 3 with RetroPie in.

I have my pi setup with a Controlblock from petrockblock to handle the controller and power switch wiring, but I was wondering how best to configure this.

I will be using arcade games only in this build, and my A1Up is a street fighter 2 machine, so traditional 6 button layout, with a start button for each player, and an extra button which id like to use as coin and a hotkey?

My questions are, should I put the controlblock in “arcade” or “MAME” mode? I’ll likely be using MAME and finalburn neo libretro cores to run my roms.

Is retroarch able to automatically map buttons to this layout, or will I have to configure manually? Does emulationstation button configuration have any bearing on what happens in retroarch?

      Thanks
      Stewart
